Today I'd like to introduce you to shutter scraping, an essential process before painting shutters.

Shutters that are over 10 years old will have a lot of rust and if you paint them in this state, rust marks and scratches will become visible.

The paint will also not adhere well, and after a few years, the shutters that you worked so hard to make beautiful will peel off.

To prevent this from happening, at Nurikaeru we carefully scrape (prepare the base) each shutter one by one and aim to paint when the base is in good condition.
